VISHWAS Rehabilitation Centre, located in the tranquil surroundings of Greater Noida, is a dedicated facility under the Richmond Fellowship Society (India) that specializes in supporting individuals with mental illnesses. Established in 2008, VISHWAS is committed to providing a holistic approach to mental health recovery through its unique Therapeutic Community model. This model emphasizes group participation and community engagement, allowing residents to feel a sense of belonging and actively participate in their healing journey. The Centre offers both a Halfway Home and Day Care services, catering to the diverse needs of individuals with severe mental illnesses. The Halfway Home serves as a transitional living arrangement, accommodating up to 20 residents in a nurturing environment that resembles home. Here, tailored interventions focus on skill-building and fostering independence, enabling individuals to navigate daily challenges and rebuild their lives. The Day Care program is open to both residents and non-residents, providing opportunities for meaningful activities that enhance life skills and promote empowerment. VISHWAS also features a Psychiatric Outpatient Department (OPD) that offers essential mental health services without the need for hospitalization. With a strong commitment to addressing the stigma surrounding mental health, VISHWAS aims to create a supportive community that fosters understanding and healing for all individuals.
